This work is really a natural extension of the work in Gallery 2. It was started in Fall 2015 and emerges from time to time through my process. I chose to separate these pieces out because they have started to emerge as their own body of work.
Part of my process is to explore as many ways of telling a story as possible. Even though these pieces are more abstracted, they were part of an exploration of human connections...I tend to not restrict my work and I want to explore a given theme, impulse, inspiration as comprehensively as possible. So to me these exist on the same continuum of exploration as the work in Gallery 2. Look close and you will find human forms relating, connecting, twisting, and flailing. It's a meditation on human culture. I look forward to seeing where this series takes me.
This work spans 2009-present. It is not comprehensive but represents a natural progression or exploration over time.
